Writing in 3rd person as a journalist keeps my chops up, steers me away from myself and supports the poetry community. As the first host of Los Angeles’ 100 Thousand Poets for Change, a member of The World Poetry Movement and founder of The Los Angeles Poets Union, I am also The Los Angeles Poetry Examiner and just recently came on as National Poetry Examiner. The following article is my first one as the new title of National Poetry Examiner, following Cameron Conaway, the first Nat’l P.E.
